Will my new sofa be assembled by you?

Answer

Yes, that's part of our service. Your sofa will be set up where you want it, and all the packing material will be taken away.

Question 2

Are the back cushions removable?

Answer

The back cushions of our sofas are permanently sewn to the backrest. This ensures the cushions always stay where they belong and eliminates the need for tedious 'shaping' of your sofa. Only our Denver model features removable and washable back cushion covers.

Question 3

What are the seat height and seat depth of my sofa?

Answer

With a seat height of 45 cm and a seat depth of 55 cm, your Rio sofa has the proven proportions for a comfortable sitting experience. In contrast, our Tokio sofa invites you to lounge around thanks to its seat depth adjustment from 55 cm to 85 cm. With Tokio, you can also choose between a seat height of 40 cm or 45 cm.

Can I choose between different types of foam and degrees of firmness?

Answer

We use medium-firm foam with a density of approx. 38 kg/m3 for our Rio, Tokyo and Nairobi sofa models. If you prefer a firmer seat, you can also choose cold foam.

Question 5

Does the choice of storage space affect the comfort of the sofa?

Answer

Yes, due to the substructure (frame), there may be slight differences in the seat firmness when choosing the storage space, whether with our open end or our longchair. The choice of pull-out function has no influence on the seating comfort, as the structure (spring base, upholstery) remains the same.

Is it possible to test-sit your furniture outside of your stores?

Answer

Yes, we have several partners in different cities where you can experience the quality of our seating for yourself. There may already be a Casarista sofa near you - just take a look at our exhibition partner page.

Question 7

Does the pull-out function on the Rio serve as a sleeping function?

Answer

The pull-out function on our Rio model is designed to extend the seating depth of your sofa or to provide overnight accommodation for friends and family (in a corner or U-shape solution). However, the pull-out function is not intended for permanent sleeping accommodation; in this case, we recommend our Nairobi model.
The 14 cm thick comfort show mattress on a stable slatted frame ensures that every overnight guest feels comfortable.

How high are the legs of my sofa?

Answer

Rio model: 16cm - so your robot vacuum cleaners fits underneath perfectly.
Tokyo model: 16 or 21cm - and here again: the robot vacuum cleaner has enough room.
Denver model: Almost flush with the floor.
Nairobi model: The feet are approx. 6cm high.

How the sofa configurator works

Would you like to design your own sofa? It's really easy with our sofa configurator! When you use the configurator for your sofa, you will first be asked to select a shape. Would you like to configure a U-shaped sectional sofa, a corner sofa or a single sofa? Once you have chosen the shape, you can move on to the design and then use the sofa configurator to specify the dimensions, fabric, colour and all other features. Would you like your custom-made sofa to have storage space? Or perhaps headrests? The choice is yours, and you can plan your couch, corner sofa or sectional sofa entirely yourself – down to the smallest detail.
